Nimbate, draped, half-length figure of the Virgin Mary, orans, within circuit of city walls with four towers; K sigla below / ANΔPONIC-ANΔIN, Christ (in center), standing facing, nimbate, wearing pallium and colobium, crowning Andronicus II (on left), and Michael IX (on right), kneeling facing to either side, both wearing divitision and loros; IC-XC (barred) flanking head of Christ.
