Head of Dionysus right, crowned with ivy, wearing mitra (cloth headband) ΔIONYΣIOY / ΣΩTHΡOΣ / MAΡΩNITΩN, Dionysus, nude, standing facing, head left, left arm draped with chlamys and cradling two spears, grapes in right hand; ΠA monogram in inner left field, ΠΩE monogram in inner right field. HGC 3.2, 1556. Wonderful deep purple and blue toning throughout.
