Republic Yuan Shih-kai "Military" Dollar Year 9 (1920) XF Details (Cleaned) PCGS, cf. KM-Y329.6 (for standard issue), L&M-77 (same), WS-Unl. Military or warlord issue. A highly elusive "date" for this fiercely sought-after warlord issue produced under Communist forces in the period between 1930 and 1933. Notably not listed by Wang Chun Li, it appears that a relatively scattered handful have become available in recent years, the majority of which have suffered from post-mint damage. Though cleaned and somewhat crudely engraved, the designs show a sharp execution from heavily polished dies.
