Philip III Cob Real 1611/10 Mo-F F12 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM27.2, cf. Cal-490 (overdate unlisted), Cay-4515. 3.07gm. By all indications a very rare early overdated Mexican Cob, seemingly absent from auction records of the last several decades aside from a single other piece we offered in 2007. Clearly executed from different dies than that specimen (which showed the 0 directly below the final 1 in the date), and likely somewhat finer than the assigned grade would suggest.
