Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1725-(9) MS61 NGC, Rennes mint, cf. KM470.25 (date unlisted), Gad-339 (R2), Dup-1638. Large palms variety. A selection whose actual rarity seems to far outstrip that published in the standard literature, with none in recent auction records, and this being only specimen yet certified by NGC. Additionally not present in the holdings of either Ford or Partrick, and a superb piece to be able to locate in Mint State.
