Commonwealth Shilling 1652 XF Details (Reverse Scratched) NGC, Tower mint, Sun mm, KM390.1, S-3217, ESC-105 (R2), N-2724. 6.03gm. Extra stop in "COMMON•WEALTH" variety. Misattributed on the label as the standard variety. A visually intriguing example of this scarce variety, the last of which we've located was offered in a 2017 Baldwin's auction. While the cause for the details designation is admittedly minimal and witnessed near the interior of the wreath, it does little to detract from the visual character of the piece at hand, gleaning with lovely cabinet tone throughout.
