Description

Stanislaus Augustus gold Ducat 1785-EB AU55 NGC, Warsaw mint, KM201, Kaminski/Kopicki-340 (R2), Parchimowicz/Brzezinski-42.c (R3). 3.48gm. Mintage: 6,529. A typically bent and rather poorly preserved type that rarely survives this fine, with the coin at hand presently standing below just a single MS61 as one of a mere 3 examples of the date yet certified by PCGS. Already stemming from a generally low mintage series, this is the first example we have offered, and contains distinctive luster around the outer registers.
