Willem I Rijksdaalder 1816-B MS65 NGC, Utrecht mint, KM46, Dav-225. A laudable selection of the issue, tied for the second finest certified across both PGCS and NGC combined, bested only by the Cape Coral example, an unfathomable MS66, in last year's NYINC auction. Dressed in an appealing contrast of amber and cerulean accents over lustrous, satiny surfaces. The final issue of the old Dutch Rijksdaalder, minted for the last time by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1816. It was struck at Utrecht, the only provincial mint retained by the new kingdom.
