George III Counterstamped Bank Dollar of 5 Shillings ND (1797) AU55 PCGS, KM626, ESC-1857 (formerly ESC-131). Displaying Type I oval bust of George III counterstamp on a Charles IV 8 Reales 1794 PTS-PR of Bolivia. A rather sublime rendering of this historic bank coinage, the added stamp fully clear and detailed for its tiny size and the host itself very well-struck, especially when considering the usually sorry and weak state of the hosts employed in the counterstamping initiative.
