Archduke Ferdinand Taler ND (1564-1595) MS64 NGC, Hall mint, Dav-8097. A collectible Taler type, especially when found this nice and even a touch medallic, with Ferdinand's half-length portrait rising in clear contrast against the surrounding, lustrous fields. A small planchet imperfection can be seen to the right-side legend, noted for the sake of accuracy, but does little to detract from the visual allure of the piece at hand.
