Ferdinand VI 4 Reales 1757 Mo-MM MS63 PCGS, Mexico City mint, KM95, Cal-391, Yonaka-M4-57. A glorious Choice Mint State survivor of this typically low-grade and underappreciated denomination, bathed in an almost unheard-of satiny finish as a light iridescence envelopes the rims. Currently situated alongside one other specimen at the top of the certified population, we would note that the present coin is far finer than the Rudman (AU53), Norweb (MS62), and Gerber (uncertified) examples. Simply a delight to behold, and a coin which truly must be viewed in hand to be fully appreciated.
