Seychelles Government of Seychelles 50 Rupees 6.11.1928 Pick 5as Specimen PMG Very Fine 30. This is the highest denomination of the King George V series, and it is very rare in any and all formats. This excellent note is serial number 33 for the design and date. Some stains are seen on the back and a perforated cancellation has been applied. There are only two dates for this denomination, 1928 and 1936, and they both use the A/1 prefix with serial numbers continuing from one date to the next. A known issued 50 Rupees from 1936 features a serial number A/1 01748, which indicates just how few notes were issued for 1928. An incredible rarity and missing from almost all relevant collections.
