Description

Hupeh. Hsüan-t'ung Dollar ND (1909-1911) AU53 PCGS, Wuchang mint, KM-Y131, L&M-187, Kann-45. Variety with small incuse dot on fireball (no swirl), and without dot in center of Manchu script. Among the upper tier of examples we have offered for the type, owing largely to the limited availability of quality survivors that have not suffered harsh post-mint treatment. Both the dragon and the Manchu retain good definition--a noteworthy feature, given how often the issue comes with a weak central strike.
