The 1981 Malaysia set of banknotes featuring the signature of Abdul Aziz bin Taha are surprisingly scarce, and this $100 is no exception. In fact, this denomination is quite rare and short lived. This Specimen is likewise rare, and especially so in Superb Gem Uncirculated grade. According to the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging, this is the single finest of only six Specimen graded. A perforated cancellation is mentioned. Nearly flawless, this is a key Specimen for Malaysia.
