Korea Bank of Chosen 100 Yen 1914 Pick 16s Specimen PMG Very Fine 30 Net. A hard to find, desirable Specimen from the Bank of Chosen. A fantastic vignette depicting Daikoku (the God of Fortune) graces the front, while a lovely image of a cherry blossom centered between two evenly weighted mandalas enhances the back. Issued under the Japanese Protectorate, this higher denomination is widely collected due to its interesting designs and convertibility into gold. Red overprints, perforations, and four POCs are present. The third party grading company mentions pieces added and repairs, but these do not seem to detract from overall beauty of this note. At the time of cataloging, there are only 10 graded examples in the PMG Population Report reflecting the scarcity of this example.
