This rare Waterlow & Sons type is extremely popular and it is quite rare no matter the date or grade. The print run was quite small, as evidenced by the fact that this is the sixth date and its serial number is only 168,262. Although it is probable that the print totals are not equal for all date, it can be assumed that approximately 30,000 or so notes were printed for each date, on average or thereabouts. Outstanding visual appeal abounds, from the embossing to the watermarked paper. A terrific example of a very popular and rare banknote.
