China Tung Pei Bank of China 1000 Yuan 1948 Pick S3758 S/M#T213 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ. The Tung Pei Bank of China operated at the very beginning of the Communist era. These private issue notes are fairly scarce in regular grade, but Uncirculated notes are definitely rare. This pleasing high grade note is not generally offered and is one of the earliest Communist notes for China.
