Excellent color and embossing are seen these later notes, issued by the Bank of Communications. Unlike earlier notes, these were not printed by the American Bank Note Company, but locally by the Da Tung Book Company. A spectacular vignette of a passenger train enhances the front on these visually appealing examples. Impressive guilloche designs accent this consecutive serial number run.
