Catherine II gold Rouble 1779 MS62 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, KM-C76, Bit-115 (R), Diakov-388. Only a one-year type, and a highly challenging issue to locate this close to Choice Mint State. Even for a small coin, at an arm's length the brilliance of the present piece is fully appreciable, with closer examination revealing strong die polish.
