Benefitting from a clear strike, with typical micro-granularity to the surfaces pointing to a strike with rusted dies. However, the quality of this specimen, the finest of this issue certified by NGC, is anything but typical, with only miniscule instances of friction dispersed across the surfaces, and a balanced aesthetic appeal resulting from careful preservation across well over two centuries of likely collector ownership. Satiny, sun-gold luster decorates the centers, ringed at the peripheries by shimmering wateriness that yields a decidedly high-end visual appeal. Ex.
