AD 330-331, struck under Constantine I to commemorate the moving of the Roman capitol from Rome to Constantinople. CONSTAN-TINOPOLIS, laureate, helmeted bust of Constantinopolis left, wearing imperial cloak, reversed spear in left hand over shoulder / Victory standing facing, head left, right foot on prow, transverse scepter in right hand, left resting on grounded shield; SLG in exergue.
