A fleeting issue in Mint State condition, and one of only a small number to reach this level of certification, just three examples tied for finest at NGC at the MS64 level. Frosty, with a deeper peripheral tone yielding a pleasing framing effect, while just a subtle envelope tone encroaches from the edges and minor evidence of die clashing can be detected on the reverse. Far finer than the Whittier example, which only graded at an AU50.
