Central American Republic 8 Reales 1825 NG-M MS62 NGC, Nueva Guatemala mint, KM4, WR-11, Elizondo-85, Stickney-C92. A coin which exists very near the peak of the certified population for its early date, bested by only a single MS63 between NGC and PCGS combined. Even a quick glance over the offering's broad surfaces makes clear fully Prooflike details, confirming a technical preservation on the absolute cusp of choice status, likely held back by just a smattering of wispy contact on the reverse, a feature which, however, is hardly unusual within the series. Noticeably razor-sharp for a usually unevenly struck type, and just lightly adjusted through the obverse sun's rays.
