MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Philip III Arrhidaeus (323-317 BC). AR drachm (17mm, 12h). NGC Fine. Uncertain mint in western Asia Minor, ca. 323-280 BC. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion-skin headdress, paws tied before neck / ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ, Zeus seated left on backless throne, left leg drawn back, feet on stool, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; OΣΠ monogram in left field, stag head right below throne. Price P116. Lovely blue toning on reverse.
