Harvest-gold appearances decorate this lovely issue, the prominent and precisely struck portrait of Ferdinand boasts trivial wisps against lightly reflective low-lying fields. Accompanied by a presentation box engraved with sailing vessel and the inscription "The Treasures of the River Plate" from which the current example originated. Also with the group is an authentic reproduction of a bar found in the shipwreck, cast with 26 oz. sterling silver and 24kt gold-plated.
