Description
Hannover. Ernst August gold 10 Taler 1839-S AU53 NGC, KM187, Fr-1171, D&S-102. From the SS New York Shipwreck. A pleasing gold issue with only gentle friction defining the grade, the reverse essentially unimpaired by handling and displays boisterous flashy appearances. Only five examples have been seen between PCGS and NGC to date, with only a single uncirculated, this being the second finest.
