A fleeting issue produced to a mere 20 examples, commemorating the centuries-old Ducatons of the Dutch Republic and displaying the familiar riding knight obverse motif. We note that an identically certified example sold for a total of $26,400 in our May 2021 Platinum Night Auction (Auction 3091, Lot 31172). Sold with the original case of issue and unnumbered COA, as well as a padded display box fitted with an earthenware tile designed, numbered 6 of 20, by the Koninklijke Tichelaar.
