Minas Gerais. João Prince Regent Counterstamped 960 Reis ND (1808) VF Details (Cleaned) NGC, KM242, LMB-450. Crowned arms counterstamp on the obverse, banded globe on the reverse (AU Strong), struck on a Charles IV 8 Reales 1806 PTS-PJ from Bolivia (cf. KM73). Despite the wear and cleaning witnessed to the host coin, the counterstamp is atypically strong, lending to its full rendering.
