Pedro II Counterstamped 500 Reis ND (1698) VF30 NGC, Lisbon mint, KM438.1, Gomes-116.02. C/S (XF Standard). Type IV countermark. Counterstamped upon earlier 400 Reis of João IV (KM52). Dressed in a pleasing pewter patina with a crisply embossed countermark and ample remaining detail.
