Heraclius (AD 610-641), with Heraclius Constantine. AV solidus (19mm, 4.47 gm, 6h). NGC MS 5/5 - 3/5, brushed. Constantinople, 1st officina, ca. AD 616-625. dd NN hЄRACLIЧS Єt hЄRA CONSt PP AV, draped and cuirassed facing busts of Heraclius (on left) larger and bearded, and Heraclius Constantine (on right) smaller and beardless, each wearing simple crown and chlamys; cross above between them / VICTORIA-AVϚЧ A, cross potent with base on three steps; COMOB below. Sear 738. Die partially reengraved on the reverse from CONOB.
