Republic 8 Reales 1881 Mo-MH MS66 PCGS, Mexico City mint, KM377.10, DP-Mo66. A conditionally scarce issue that becomes highly elusive in grades of MS64 and finer, with only three assigned the lofty MS66, present company included. A technically wonderful example with eye appeal to boot, punctuated by a luxurious coating of peach and tangerine hues evolving to opalescent-tinged edges. The reverse displays a covetable satiny sheen and not a hint of weakness that is commonly encountered in the breast of the eagle. A wholly enticing specimen and a rare opportunity to own a "Cap & Rays" so fine.
