British India. Victoria Original Proof Rupee 1891-B PR65+ NGC, Bombay mint, KM492, S&W-6.120. An absolute gem of an original Proof from the iconic Rupee series of British India. This particular specimen is veiled in a deeply patinated surface imbued with a prevalent glossy iridescence, most dramatic to the fields of the reverse as bold cerulean and indigo tinged with light golden undertones decorates the ornate and crisply rendered foliage.
