The first series of notes issued by the People's Banks included a plethora of designs for each denomination. Two completely different 20 Yuan designs are offered in this lot, each of which is in Uncirculated grade. The blue note, featuring the Liuhe Pagoda in Hangzhou, has been trimmed. A pleasing pair of notes from 1949.
