China Central Bank of China 1 Yuan 1936 Pick 209 S/M#C300-91 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. A truly outstanding example of this famous design printed by the Chung Hwa Book Company Limited. Deep color inks and excellent margins are seen on both sides of this National Currency issue. The last Pick 209 we offered, which was graded PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ, realized $55,200 in June 2019. Although this example is graded two points lower than the previous offering, we feel this will surpass our conservative estimate due to sheer scarcity of this 1936 issued note, especially in this Uncirculated grade.
