China Ta Ch'ing Pao Ch'ao 50,000 Cash 1858 (Yr. 8) Pick A7b S/M#T6-54 PMG Choice Very Fine 35. A well preserved example of the second highest denomination from the Qing Dynasty government cash series is offered here. Notes of this type were issued during the reign of Emperor Xianfeng. These 50,000 Cash denominations seldom cross the auction block. In fact, this is only the third time we have had the opportunity to handle this Pick number. This example also holds the finest grade of the four total notes registered in the PMG Population Report. Visual appeal is present throughout. This example would make a great addition to any collection. The third party grading company mentions a corner stain, which is located along the lower right margin.
