LYCIAN DYNASTS. Teththiveibi (ca. 460-425 BC). AR stater (20mm, 8.29 gm, 2h). NGC AU 4/5 - 3/5, edge scuff. Two cocks facing one another on a round shield; KI monogram (sideways) between / T↑-XXE-F↑E-BE, tetraskeles; H in corner angle, all in dotted square within incuse square. Cf. SNG von Aulock 4158 (reverse legend arrangement). A very rare type that is seldom available.
