Zurich. Canton 1/2 Taler 1776 MS66 NGC, KM162, HMZ-2-1165 (the edge is not visible in the holder, so the full HMZ# is not determinable). A superb coin, fully struck on a broad flan and displaying bright fuchsia and champagne highlights over brilliant features dressed in varied overlapping shades of metallic tone. Tied for the finest that we have seen to date, and which has been certified by either PCGS or NGC. Ex. Heritage Auction #3012 (January 2011, Lot 25612)
