Description

Obwalden. Half-Canton gold Restrike Ducat 1787-Dated (c. 1860) MS65 NGC KM46 (under Unterwalden), Fr-351, HMZ-2-731k. Official Restrike. Coin alignment. Mintage: 150. An extravagant gem and one with highly reflective and deeply honeyed fields centering a kneeled praying St. Nicholas with rosary beads and rays of light. The finest specimen NGC has seen and one deserving of at least a Prooflike designation given the overall appearances.
