Appenzell. Canton 4 Franken 1816 MS63 NGC, Bern mint, KM12, Dav-368, HMZ-2-28b. Mintage: 1,850. Finely patinated in silver amidst touches of iridescence in the fields. The devices are rendered to exceptional clarity, with only a single spot of softness noted over the face of the standing soldier. Underlying reflectivity is expressed throughout.
