The single finest example of this rare minor of Paul I that we have offered, and a type whose conditional sensitivity begins in earnest on the grading scale, as few survive outside of excessively worn and generally poorer conditions. While conforming to the designation in terms of overall rub, the offering comes imbued with terrific eye appeal for the grade, losing little detail to circulation.
