Description
Charles IV gold 2 Escudos 1801 Mo-FT AU58 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM132, Cal-1335 (prev. Cal-367). An even nicer specimen than its assigned grade suggests, a pervasive glassy luster rolling smoothly over the fields as the coin is tipped from end-to-end. At present, this is the finest certified example, with Eliasberg altogether missing an example of this denomination for the date.
