Description

Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1760 Mo-MM AU Details (Obverse Scratched) NGC, Mexico City mint, KM153, Onza-740, Cal-1977 (prev. Cal-69). A scarce first bust emission struck upon a large harvest-gold planchet imbued with scattered marigold tones. The noted scratch is obvious but subtly detracts from the overall eye appeal. Regardless, a pleasing early issue of Charles III rarely seen coming to market.
