Victoria Proof "Gothic" Crown 1847 AU Details (Mount Removed, Tooled) NGC, KM744, S-3883, ESC-2571. UN DECIMO edge. An immensely popular issue, this famed "Gothic" Crown of Victoria is dressed in a deep charcoal patina and exudes overall muted appearances. Previous evidence of a mount removal is evident to the edges at 1 and 6 o'clock and tooling is seen throughout the obverse.
