Prussia. Friedrich Wilhelm I gold 1/2 Wilhelms d'Or 1739-EGN MS62 PCGS, Berlin mint, KM221, Marienburg-Unl., von Schrötter-188. A rare Prussian gold type, entirely missing from Bahrfeldt's famous catalog of the Marienburg Collection, and currently the only certified specimen. Highly medallic to the obverse, the reverse shows an equally careful preparation with heavy die polish visible throughout the surfaces.
