Description

George IV gold Sovereign 1825 MS65 PCGS, KM696, S-3801, Marsh-10. Of simply remarkable preservation for this "Bare Head" Sovereign issue of George IV. The surfaces are dressed in silky golden luster and nearly undisturbed by contact or handling friction. Even close inspection yields virtually no flaws of even trivial consequence, with rotation under light unleashing a tranquil velveteen glow that careens over the fields upon rotation. Delicately toned, and with just a hint of amber warmth enhancing the outer registers, this elite gem will find fitting placement within even the highest-tier Sovereign collection. Tied for the finest certified with only a single example across both PCGS and NGC.
