An elusive and popular overdate variety, exhibiting prominent traces of the underdate "8" and tinged with a honeyed amber patina. Despite the assigned designation, this specimen is a striking example that features crisp details on an inviting large flan. The noted obverse repair is likely the smoothing to the left field of the obverse, mentioned for the sake of completeness.
