João V gold 800 Reis 1734-R Clipped NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM153, LMB-199. A piece that's in good company in terms of rarity with other sought-after 800 reis offered in this collection. Even, yellow-gold surfaces decorate this well-worn survivor, of which only a small handful have been seen by NGC. The notation of the clip and excessively hairlined fields are mentioned for the sake of accuracy.
