Description
Pedro II 800 Reis 1840 MS61 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM456, LMB-548, Bentes-578.03. A Mint State representative with a low mintage of 145 pieces and an outstanding example of this rare date and scarce type; the champagne surfaces are especially attractive as they illuminate from a turn of the wrist, highlighting the fully struck up details of the arms, wreath, and legends.
