Spain Banco de Espana 100 Pesetas 1.5.1900 Pick 51a PMG Extremely Fine 40. Splendid paper and colors are seen on this highest denomination of the 1899-1900 series. This series was printed locally, and detailed records indicate that 3,500,000 notes of this denomination were printed. The large counterfoil at left is seen intact. Pleasing and scarce. A repair is mentioned for accuracy.
