Although catalogs have deemed this note "unissued," Specimen and fully issued banknotes appear from time to time. Nevertheless, the 5000 and 10,000 Dong of this series are much scarcer than the balance of denominations of the series. A fantastic rendering of a roaring Asian Leopard at back endears this note to collectors worldwide. Rare and quite pretty.
